KobiData

KobiBooks now has a new feature built-in: KobiData! KobiData is an Amazon Data Source that has:

  • Title
  • Image
  • Salesrank
  • Used Offers
  • New Offers
  • Buybox Prices
  • KobiScore
  • Weight
  • Publication Date
  • Publisher
  • Edition
  • Category

Most of the fields above are pretty self-explanatory, except KobiScore. What is KobiScore?

KobiScore is a 0-100 number that reflects the consistency of sales on Amazon in the last 6 months. If something sells at least one copy every day for 6 months, it’ll have a score of 100. If it only sells on average every-other-day over a 6 month period, it’ll have a score of 50.

If you’re looking for books that you know are going to sell, a high KobiScore is a great metric to use.

KobiScore can also give you hints about how a books sales are trending. If the KobiScore is low, and the salesrank is low, that means the book just recently started seeing more sales. If the KobiScore is high and the salesrank is high, that means the book sells consistently, just not in high volumes.

KobiData is built-into KobiBooks and every KobiBooks instance has an automatic 10,000 hit/month KobiData subscription. You can purchase a separate subscription with 100k, 1 million, or 10 million hits per month to meet your needs.
